Firstly, this is an addendum to my 2018 'Andrew Tuttle' album. If you haven't done so, please listen to that album first.

For whatever reason, my third, self-titled, album was the most frustrating one for me to make to date. The album released in May 2018 was the *third* version of it (infinite shout out to Lawrence English for mastering two completely separate versions!), as it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to create and share.

In retrospect, this first version I'm sharing is a lot more of a 'project' than album, given that I'd set myself an aim of starting/finishing an album whilst doing a fortnight residency at the amazing EMS studio in Stockholm in May 2016. This initial version of the album was written/edited in May and mastered in June; once I actually gave myself some space I realised that this wasn't "the album".

Between this and the actual album release, I'd gotten rid of two synth tracks, released one as a digital-only single, completely altered one, considerably shortened another... and a grand total of two aren't too dissimilar to the final album!
